Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Floss and a Fork

To have healthy teeth and gums you will need a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and a fork? Yes, a fork is one of the important elements for good dental health. Melon, carrots, cheese and even chocolate can benefit your teeth.

By now you know that sugary foods can lead to cavities, but certain foods and herbs can prevent them by destroying harmful bacteria, fortifying enamel and reducing gum disease. Crunchy fruits and vegetables knock off plaque like a toothbrush, while healthy fats from fish may reduce gum disease.

Here one of 12 beneficial foods you can eat to help have healthier teeth. Next time we’ll list more foods.

  1. Crunchy vegetables
Crunchy, water-rich snacks, like carrots, celery and apples, act like nature’s toothbrush to keep your teeth healthy. Chewing crispy vegetables scrapes teeth and gradually chips off harmful plaque between them.  Plus chewing increases your saliva production, neutralizing bacteria that is harmful to your teeth.

By introducing more crunchy vegetables in your diet, you not only help your teeth but your general overall heath. So eat more carrots.
